Michael Cohen

Michael Cohen is an acknowledged expert in the field of Bioenergy Healing.

Having established his treatment clinic, Michael subsequently founded the Bioenergy Healing Research Foundation for training and research. His ongoing exploratory and experimental approach to his work at the cutting edge of Bio-energy medicine and healing treatment, has seen the techniques continue to enhance and evolve into RaphaYad.

Most importantly they have led to the extraordinary high level of results and continues to push the boundaries of human: rehabilitation, development and potential.

Joanne Cohen

Foundation Administrator & Assistant Practitioner

Joanne is married to Michael. For the last 5 years Joanne has been the Bioenergy Healing Research Foundation's administrator. This includes the role of Clinic and Training School management. In 2006 she decided to widen her experiences and took up the additional role of practitioner training. She joins Michael for 2 days a week in the clinic where she works alongside him with clients.

Joanne has been a student of Hatha Yoga for 15 years. Yoga has been a fundamental aspect to her and her family life. Since she has worked with Bioenergy Healing techniques she has been able to move beyond many past boundaries and develop a core strength, which has culminated in her being able to look after herself in a more complete and effective way. Joanne has an ITEC qualification in Anatomy and Physiology. She continues to move beyond past limitations, which on a physical level now includes kickboxing.

Sapna Bhatiani

Trainee Practitioner

After an MA in Development Studies and the birth of my son, I worked in charity funding and support work for a women’s mental health organisation. During this time I learnt Reiki and been practicing and studying in Brighton for six years, contributing to the work of the Brighton Cancer Support Group and the Reiki Drop-in Centre.

After a stint of simultaneously practicing Reiki and studying Law, I decided to commit myself full-time to energy work and gained a certificate in Meridian Energy Therapies (EFT). My research into energy fields and vibrational medicine brought me to Bioenergy Healing and a Foundation Course with Michael.

Now a Reiki Master and teaching others, I practice Dynamic Yoga to support my personal energy work and to gain further understanding of the body’s connections and potential for human health on all levels. I am currently studying for an ITEC diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, and began my Apprenticeship with Michael in September 2007.
