Activating Physical 

& Physiological Repair

 

An ability to project and respond to healing energy has evolved as a natural design feature of living systems.   This points to a simple conclusion: no medical devise, regardless of its sophistication, is likely to achieve the efficacy and safety obtainable by imposing a naturally generated signal to living tissue.  (Oschman, Energy Medicine)

 

Why FULL repair is not activated naturally?

The average person's body has not been fully serviced and maintained throughout their life. Adjustments to diet, exercise and lifestyles is not sufficient in their own right in response to the use, abuse, misuse, disuse of their body. 

This level of maintenance is equivalent to checking the oil, brake and radiator fluids and filling it up with petrol. However, is your car going to get you through the next 10 years with this level of maintenance.

This leads us to conclude that 'the human body with poor/low maintenance can only partially repair and heal itself'. 

How do we go about ACTIVATING repair?

Firstly, continue with the diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle changes. They are a good starting point.

But the crucial maintenance work that is needed has to be in the form of a technique that has the ability to re-wire the body's neurological and communication systems. Which will simultaneously bring order to cellular function combined with balanced and enhanced psychological function.

Application of Bioenergy Healing treatment can convert a stalled healing process into active repair, even in patients unhealed for as long as 40 years or a lifetime. The mechanism by which active repair is initiated probably involves both activation of specific cellular activities and the opening of the channels or circuitry for the natural biological communications. The free flow of messages through tissues is essential for prevention and for a heightened level of ‘well-being’.

How does the signal trigger healing?

A practitioner using Bioenergy techniques induces currents to flow in nearby tissues. Induction is the process by which magnetic fields cause currents to flow in nearby conductors.

As the biomagnetic field extends some distance from the body surface, the fields of two adjacent people or organisms will interact with each other. Likewise, during hands-off techniques, as well as hands-on manipulative techniques, the biomagnetic field of the practitioner will interact with the body of the client.

A variety of electrical, electronic, magnetic and other energetic phenomena take place within healthy tissue as a consequence of the communications needed to coordinate cellular activities. The resulting energy fields are radiated from the hands and eyes of the practitioner to the client. 

Whether caused by physical or emotional trauma, ‘the wound that does not heal’ is a wound that is not receiving the natural regulatory signals needed to initiate and coordinate repair processes. When a practitioners hands are brought close to such a wound, essential information is transferred via the energy field, communication channels open and the healing process is ‘jump started’.

Research in Bioenergy treatment has revealed that it is effective because it conveys ‘information’ that triggers specific repair activities within the body. The currents induced in tissues by Bioenergy Treatment are trained at the natural electrical activities appropriate to the cell or soft or hard tissue.

Pulsing magnetic fields initiate a cascade of activities, from the cell membrane to the nucleus and on to the gene level, where specific changes take place (Bassett 1955).

Healing Affects of Specific Frequencies

In order for the healing signal to work effectively at the required cell, soft or hard tissue the treatment has to be very precise and specific.

Research shows that practitioners can emit powerful pulsing biomagnetic fields in the same frequency range that biomedical researchers have identified for jump-starting healing of soft tissue injuries (nerve, skin, muscle and tendon), hard tissue injuries (bone) and the pain associated with such injuries. The advantage of Bioenergy treatment over magnetic and electrical devices is that it is non-invasive and that it is able to naturally adjust to the frequency of each soft or hard tissue simultaneously. Each tissue responds to a different frequency and can lead to the:

• Enhancement of capillary formation

• Decreased necrosis (reduced death of a limited portion of tissue)

• Reduced swelling

• Diminished pain

• Faster functional recovery

• Reduction in depth, area, and pain in skin wounds

• Increased tensile strength of ligaments

• Acceleration of nerve regeneration and functional recovery

• Acceleration of wound healing.

‘Healing energy’ projected from the human body, is energy of a particular frequency or set of frequencies that stimulate the repair of one or more tissues.

This triggers a cascade of activities, from the cell membrane to the nucleus and on to the gene level, where specific changes take place (Bassett 1995). The interpretation of these findings is that particular repair processes are triggered by the information contained in signals of specific frequencies.

Research recorded by Dr John Zimmerman from the hand of a practitioner of therapeutic touch (Zimmerman 1990) showed that the signal frequency was not steady, but varied from 0.3 to 30Hz, with most of the activity in the range of 7-9Hz. The following table shows the portions of the ‘sweep’ that correspond to the healing effects of specific frequencies.
